Initiative Elements LOW ELEMENTS The Team TrolleyTask: Move the group from point A to point B with the use of two long wooden planks with ropes for hand holds. Group must make it from start to finish without any body parts touching the ground. The Wild WoozeyTask: Move yourself and a partner along two logs without losing contact and without touching the ground. The Triangle TraverseTask: Partners balance each other using a rope while traversing a wire triangle The Hanging Rope BridgeTask: Move individually across the suspended rope bridge… not as easy as it looks The Single Rope BridgeTask: Move your team across the rope bridge The Journey:The Mine FieldTask: As a team, cross a series of logs in the ground without touching the same log twice and without touching the ground. The Port HoleTask: To pass each individual team- member through a suspended tire “Port Hole” to escape the sinking ship. Desert CrossingTask: The team must pass over the desert on a bridge they construct using only the materials provided. The group must also transport their survival water without it spilling into the desert. Mountain Tops Task: Move your entire team across the 3 mountain tops using the material provided Team Wall and Trust FallTask: The entire team must cross the wall. Once over the wall, each team member will walk to a platform and fall backwards into the arms of the group. The Buddy LogTask: The entire team will take their place on the log in random order, then rearrange themselves by alphabetical order, numbers, age, etc…. Without touching the ground. Bucking BroncoTask: The entire team must mount 3 suspended barrels and "ride" it for 8 seconds. Swinging LogTask: Entire team walks across a suspended beam using peer support if needed. Spiders WebTask: The entire team moves through the spider's web while only being able to use each hole one time. Island HopperTask: Team race across the islands. The entire team must work their way across the ocean and visit each island using only the materials provided. Be careful and watch out for sharks! The Meat GrinderTask: The entire team maneuvers across the "meat grinder" with support from their team members. The Monkey ClimbTask: Climb a ladder that is suspended from the top of a 20-foot pole. Climb the ladder individually or in teams of two. Each person will be belayed from the ground. Easy ClimbTask: Team must climb the free-swinging ladder using the materials provided. The Matagorda 500A wild race that will challenge the best of teams.
" Don't limit your challenges, challenge your limits." HIGH ELEMENTS: High elements are approximately 40 feet off the ground. Individuals will be secured and belayed from the ground and will have a facilitator on the platform with them. “The Tower of Power”Task: Climb the 40-foot climbing wall individually or in teams of two. Climb the 40-foot Jacob's Ladder. Rappel down the 40-foot wall. Each individual will have an individual belay person to support them.Zip LineTask: Enjoy the ride… Enjoy the view… Step off the platform and take a 250 foot ride across the complex. Incline LogTask: Climb the Incline Log to the next platform. Multi VinesTask: Traverse along the cable with the assistance of the hanging vines. Swinging LogTask: Climb to the platform and cross the swinging log. No Problem! 2 Line BridgeTask: Cross the 2 lines suspended 40 feet in the air. Pirate PlanksTask: ARRGHH Maties… Cross the planks to the next platform. Don’t look down! Kitten CrawlTask: Crawl along the ropes to the next platform… it’s a lovely sight from the ground HeeBeeGeeBeeTask: Navigate along the cables to the next platform. Swinging TiresTask: The toughest challenge. Move from tire to tire until you reach the next platform. The GIANT SwingTask: While harnessed to the GIANT Swing, your team pulls you to the top of a 40 foot pole and then you pull the cord for a thrilling ride down. The CentipedeTask: Climb to the top of the suspended swinging poles The Pamper PoleTask: The greatest confidence builder of all. While harnessed, climb 30 feet up, stand on top of the pole, and then leap of faith!
